"THERMIDOR AN II" is a low-warp tapestry created by monk and artist Dom Robert (1907-1997), and woven in 1975 by the Goubely workshop in Aubusson, France. From his walks in the Tarn countryside, Dom Robert brought back a whole harvest of sensations, shapes and colors: here, thistle bushes and flowering grasses, flown over by their endemic butterflies, reveal a midsummer afternoon, a dazzling "thermidor"! The artist's iconic handwriting is faithfully translated into hand-tuft, thanks to the delicate balance of a wool loop background enhanced by exceptionally precise wool pile.

Jardins Secrets

Like an ode to the charm of nature, the JARDINS SECRETS collection explores the spirit of unbridled gardens, between contemplation and wonder. The timeless theme of plants is treated with the freedom and eclecticism so dear to Pierre Frey.
