The TRIBU collection draws its inspiration from South Africa. In the bush, the N’debele people developed a non-figurative art based on colorful geometric patterns. It is expressed on the exterior walls of their houses, delivering a strong and powerful message that starkly contrasts with the landscape. This graphic art, the main vector of their identity, is the preserve of women. Seduced by this double characteristic, we wanted to create a pictorial language that complements our way of life.

Inspired by South Africa

In complete freedom of interpretation, this collection plays with different rhythms and combinations of contrasting colors that are unique to us. It is composed of jacquards, embroideries and stripes with various material effects, as well as rugs and carpets made with different techniques such as traditional Nepalese hand-knot, hand-tuft and woven carpets created on wide-width looms. The fabrics, rugs and carpets collection features exclusive designs that complement the fabrics and wallpapers of the TRIBU and RITUEL collections. This set demonstrates the universality of graphic forms. Alone, the look is a unique reflection of place and culture.
