This linen print is a reproduction of a ceremonial hanging from Cameroon dating to the early 20th century. These fabrics, known by the name of Ndop, are used by the Bamiléké and the Bamoun tribes during ceremonials. The design reproduces a stylized plan of great palaces and serves as a metaphor of power.
