Elegant, seaside, classic, ethnic, alone or with a complementary motif, these stripes have a thousand faces and decorate a range of different interiors. 

Present on every continent and in every era, this universal motif has had an eventful history. A symbol of exclusion in the West during the Middle Ages, it came into its own in the 18th century. From then on, horizontal and vertical stripes became an essential part of wardrobes and homes. 

Pierre Frey delightfully revisits this timeless motif, playing with different techniques: prints, embroidery, laminated textiles and sophisticated new grounds bring a rousing range of colors to walls, from vibrant shades to soft, muted hues.
