For the 30th edition of the Oscars after party organised by Vanity Fair magazine, the design duo Basil Walter and Will Cooper opted for a bold decor inspired by Hollywood institutions such as the Formosa Cafe and the Cocoanut Grove, as well as the El Morocco club in Manhattan, a favourite haunt of celebrities in the 1930s, whose emblematic blue zebra pattern was reimagined in a bespoke version by Maison Pierre Frey to adorn the curves of the banquettes in the reception room.
