Fabrics

The Maison Pierre Frey is making a unique contribution to this exhibition through its donation of emblematic fabrics from the Pierre Frey and Braquenié Maisons. The staging of the Great Staircase is like an aesthetic journey through the centuries, featuring classic designs such as CLERY, ISMAELIA and TIBERE. Other references to graphic design are also presented throughout the exhibition, such as OBSIDIENNE and SOULAC. Visitors will also be able to touch materials such as silk, cotton, wool and linen. They provide an essential complement to the experience, because as we know, fabric is a matter of sensations that involve sight, "hearing" and touch.
