Stripes
Velvet printed with stripes in black and white that are accented with two other colors. The particularity of this pattern resides in the placement of the stripe, which is diagonal, rather than in a typical vertical position, reinforcing its dynamic effect through contrasting colors.

India Mahdavi

India Mahdavi

Graduated in architecture and industrial design, graphics and furniture, India Mahdavi began as artistic director with decorator Christian Liaigre. In 2000, she opened her creative studio in Paris. His first projects are international: London, New York, Miami and Mexico City. She launched her first furniture collection in 2003, with a focus on beautiful proportions, high quality craftsmanship and cosmopolitan elegance. The designer then opened a first Parisian showroom, then a shop dedicated to small objects. The studio develops around different projects: restaurants (Le Café Français, Le Germain in Paris, Sketch in London), hotels and private commissions. With a singular and recognized creativity, India Mahdavi multiplies her architectural interventions (Red Valentino in Rome and London, Ladurée in Geneva and Los Angeles...) Heir to a European and Eastern culture, she works on many cultural projects that echo her work, between East and West, polyglot and polychrome.

True Velvet - India Mahdavi

Color is India Madhavi's signature, which she deploys from Paris to Siwa, from London to Los Angeles. The " Queen of Color ", as she is known, creates her first collection of velvets for Pierre Frey: "TRUE VELVET".
