The painting, admired at the Louvre Museum (©RMN), has been reproduced in a wallpaper border print by Maison Pierre Frey. Received by the Mamluk governor of the city, the Venetian delegation is composed of five people dressed in black, as well as the consul dressed in red. A masterpiece painted by the entourage of Mansueti Giovanni di Nicolo, circa 1511, it belonged to the collection of the King of France Louis XIV.
