Alexandre de Betak has many strings to his bow. In turn a designer, a conceptor, a creator of spaces, experiences and images, he created for Pierre Frey an astonishing panoramic wallpaper with a Japanese artistic influence, of which he is a fan of. Intended for his daughter Sakura’s bedroom, Alexandre de Betak was inspired by her world to compose his decor and add a few slices of contemporary life to the branches of this Japanese print. The panoramic Cherry Kawasaki thus revisits the work of the famous painters of the Edo period Hiroshige and Hokusai. Japanese and Western styles are clearly combined on this large panoramic wallpaper with pink, blue or pale green backgrounds, celebrating art, so dear to Pierre Frey, across centuries and continents.
