It is by perfecting her art in a drawing studio that Laurence Mosneron Dupin, painter and illustrator, meets a stylist from Maison Pierre Frey. A graduate in decorative painting, her vocation as an artist was born in contact with Paule Marrot, whose famous flowery cotton prints she admired as a child. In 2015, Laurence Mosneron Dupin presented her first drawing to Patrick Frey: Retour de Voyage, a cabinet of curiosity that she finally transformed into a painting with a more ethnic connotation to adapt it to the inspired collection of Aboriginal art on which Patrick Frey was then working. This drawing is part of the works exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs during the 2017 exhibition: Tissus Inspirés. A whole series of her works then entered into the Pierre Frey collections. Circus, Bonne Pêche, Lisboa, Haute Cour, Gustave or Marché de Guizhou come to life in the form of printed linens or cottons, wallpapers and even panoramics for Lisboa....
