Designed by Estudio Persona, the RUBAN line pays homage to this narrow strip of fabric ornamentation as a link between the physical and the emotional. The pieces interact with each other in a continuous dialogue of lines. A single line, with a strong yet subtle presence, outlines the contours of the seats. The movement of the ribbon is transcribed through folding. Entirely upholstered, the pieces impose themselves by their very graphic aesthetic.
